Looking ahead to March 2024, Décimas presents its new campaign “NYC HALF MARATHON”. The collection on display is made up of running clothes, shoes and accessories from his own brand: Tenth. The campaign itself is set in New York City, and aims to inspire runners to run in one of the most famous races in the world: the NYC Half Marathon.
The New York Half Marathon is a 21.1 kilometre race that starts in the Broolyn neighbourhood and finishes in Central Park, passing through iconic landmarks such as the Manhattan Bridge, the Lower East Side, Midtown and Times Square. This marathon is held on 17 March and attracts not only New Yorkers, but hundreds of runners from all over the world come to the city to enjoy an unparalleled run in the most famous city in the world.
In this context, the NYC HALF MARATHON campaign was born, which exhaustively captures the effort and perseverance of the runners to complete a 21.1 KM course. Boubacar Wai, Anna Jenser and Jake Steinberg were the athletes selected to express this spirit, and they are also photographed at distinctive points in the city where the race takes place, such as the Williamsbur Bridge and Brooklyn.
As for the running fashion collection, it stands out for its technical and comfortable character. It is made up of flexible garments that adapt to the body and favour movement. It includes T-shirts in mesh fabrics with reflective elements that favour breathability and visibility in low light conditions, as well as shorts, tights and shorts with inner mesh that become a second skin for our legs.
Although the main protagonist of the collection are the trainers. In this campaign, the new Tenth Velox model is unveiled. This shoe is specifically designed for running, it is made of two-layer mesh fabric with perforations that optimise breathability, it includes an ergonomic thermo-perforated insole that adapts to the foot without adding weight to the model, the structure of the sole in phylon capsules provides great impact absorption, the rubber inserts improve grip and the rear stabiliser favours support.
The combination of a technical collection and experienced athletes creates the perfect environment for running, improving your performance and even reaching the finish line of the New York Marathon if the runner sets his or her mind to it.
